On August 2, Minister Taro KONO, from the city of Hiratsuka (Kanagawa), and members of the Chigasaki City Council visited the headquarters of YUKI Precision. We presented parts and examples in the space sector, and exchanged views on issues such as business succession, research and development in the energy sector, and the strengths of the Japanese manufacturing industry. During a tour of the plant, they noted the importance of the quality control system and observed demonstrations on the manufacturing site. The delegation was surprised by the large number of women who played an active role, and asked employees questions about manufacturing methods.
